The News as heard on Creepercast 89!
This weeks theater release: The Apparition (August 24th)
So there’s this theory that paranormal activity is all in our heads. Like, if you believe in it it’s true. To prove it a bunch of college kids together to believe a paranormal creature into existence. As you can imagine mad cap hilarity will undoubtedly ensue!
Starring the sparkling vampire sister Ashley Green, Once Upon A Time‘s Mad Hatter Sebastian Stan, and Draco Malfoy (Tom Felton). It’s also written and directed by Tulsa Oklahoma native and relative newcomer Todd Lincoln.
This movie comes with a PG-13 rating which pretty much tells me that Dark Castle/Warner Bros. Are counting on teenie/tweenie audiences to rush to see Twilight/Harry Potter seconds in something scary. The trailer does look compelling and it appears there is more to the story a pissed off ghost. With that said I suppose we shouldn’t rule it out completely yet and would love to hear your opinion at (voicemail) or feedback@creepercast.com.
The Walking Dead movie?
“A rumor from sources close to The Walking Dead TV show, state that early – totally unofficial – discussion has begun about a Walking Dead feature film. It’s made clear that this is NOT something that will happen any time soon, but is simply a thought about the future, when the TV series has run its course for a few seasons. The film would presumably provide an end to the series – and of course, would only occur if the Walking Dead still has the ratings to justify it.”
from…‘Walking Dead’ Movie Being Considered by AMC?
First of all we at the Creepercast/The Walking Dead Week in Review would like to tell AMC to bite their tongue! But we also understand that AMC has the habit of leaving us with pretty lame endings to shows that have run their course and applaud them at having the fore-thought on how best to help us fans come to terms with it. Of course we don’t expect this to happen for a long time from now so think this talk is all jumping the gun. Finally, if The Walking Dead can keep our baited attention as well as Breaking Bad has for five seasons then I say it will undoubtedly deserve a movie. Then a part 2, and 3, and so on.
Scary Movie 5 Kills Tabloid King and Queen
“Charlie Sheen and Lindsay Lohan will be killed!”
from… Scary Movie 5: Lindsay Lohan & Charlie Sheen Will Die; Terry Crews Joins Cast
Unfortunately, though that is the first line in the article, it goes on to say “Not for real, of course.” Booo, I was hoping the Scary Movie franchise had upped the ante from spoofing popular horror into snuff film making! Anyway, I’m sure they will be funny, gruesome, and fitting fake death scenes. Also Terry Crews will be joining the cast! Sadly the bubbly blonde Anna Faris is bowing out of the newest parody but word is she is to be replaced by Ashley Tisdale! Yay?

Now for the horrid-able…
Bill and Ted’s Post-Geriatric Adventures!
“With the twenty-year gap between the movies, many fans are wondering how the third movie will tie in with the other two. Keanu Reeves told GQ:
‘One of the plot points is that these two people have been crushed by the responsibility of having to write the greatest song ever written and to change the world. And they haven’t done it. So everybody is kind of like: ‘Where is the song?’ The guys have just drifted off into esoterica and lost their rock. And we go on this expedition, go into the future to find out if we wrote the song, and one future ‘us’ refuses to tell us, and another future ‘us’ blames us for their lives because we didn’t write the song, so they’re living this terrible life. In one version we’re in jail; in another we’re at some kind of highway motel and they hate us.” from… Keanu Reeves Discusses ‘Bill & Ted 3′ Plot Details & Alternate Timelines
Woah! So it’s like Back to the Future, only with Bill and Ted, only like Sliders but with more history dudes and umm future history dudes… umm, if that’s possible. All I can say is that is so non, non, non non-heinous!
That’s the news this week folks
Til next we bleed, farewell from the beasts and I
