    • Showers and baths will not happen much
    • keep yourself from getting sick or infections

    • actually kills body odor, not just masks it.

    • May need to get off the road and trek back country, might as well know where you are

Learn the many uses of alcohol

  • Build a distiller
    • Its easy to build a small alcohol distiller
      • copper tubing, cork, tea kettle, baker’s thermometer
      • render Methanol @145 degrees, Ethanol @170 degrees
        • ethanol is good, methanol is bad
        • you will be able to distill alcohol for sale, personal use, or fuel
        • most gas engines will run on ethanol even though its not good for them.

  • Beer
    • Get beer making kitnow and learn how to make it yourself
      • most of the ingredients are shelf stable and last a long time
      • use for self consumption, trading, or distilling

As good a time as any for a green thumb

  • Start gardeningand learn to grow food.

    More on fire

  • Dakota fire pit
    • A Dakota fire pit is a way to make a fire to cook on that doesn’t draw attention by smoke or flame
      • dig hole about 1.5 feet deep, about 1 foot wide (I say to my elbow)
      • dig a second hole about a foot or so away at a 45 degree angle so it breaks through neer the bottom of the bigger hole. This is your oxygen hole. Just wide enough to fit your hand in.
      • put small fire inside hole and lay a grate or sticks over the hole to cook on.
        • Low amount of smoke, flame is under ground and can’t be seen, easy to extinguish to get away from problems.

    Miscellaneous treasures

  • Tobacco and rolling papers
    • Even if you’re not a smoker, you can always trade
  • Caffeine pills
    • A nice hot cup of coffee is great, but pills are easier to take
      • You can’t imagine right now how much you’ll be running without sleep
  • Duct tape or Gorilla tape
  • Tool kit
    • to strip and repair vehicles
    • and fix gear
  • Sewing kit
    • fix torn clothes
      • can’t live long without proper clothing
