New poster for The Walking Dead (from DreadCentral)

It seems like everything coming out this summer about AMC’s hit, “The Walking Dead,” has us eating each others faces like school girls. This week AMC released the official Season 3 poster. In it, Andrew Lincoln’s Rick Grimes stands atop an overturned bus with his iconic .357 Magnum drawn. Behind him is the prison showing a burned out cell block A and the writing “Fight the Dead. Fear the Living” above “The Walking Dead” logo. This poster alone is making October 14th look more exciting than Christmas…

This week on “Grimm”

The NBC experiment for “Grimm” has ended. NBC started the season with Grimm on Monday night’s, but after a 3 week break, they’re moving it back to its regular spot on Fridays.

Meanwhile, on this past weekend’s episode things got a little grotesque with an old testament plague that infects Vay-zins. Vay-zins can be pretty nasty themselves, and as we learn from the Fluvus Pestilentia AKA Yellow Plague, viruses can be worse. While Nick and his new “grimm” sidekick Hank track down the spread of this virus, Monroe and Rosalee come in contact with one of the infected, which infects Rosalee. Rosalee knows of a cure, but isn’t able to actually make it. This is Rosalee’s return, after being MIA last week. Which feels a little strange, seeing as Juliette has lost her memory, and Rosalee may be the only one with a clue how to get it back.

Speaking of Juliette, her memories are returning, but not about Nick. In her quest for getting her mind back, she uncovers Nick’s Grimm background but hasn’t put all the clues together quite yet.

Grimm is now on a break, and will return September 28th with the episode “The Good Shepherd”. In it, “Monroe goes undercover to help Nick expose the truth about a loval church and its unusual flock.” (DreadCentral)

As you may have noticed, it looks like Juliette may be leaving and Nick’s hiding spot at the junk yard may not be as safe as we thought.

Milo Ventimilia is “Chosen” (from DreadCentral)

The Crackle entertainmet network brings us a new horror mystery staring “Heroes” star Milo Ventimilia. Milo played Peter Patrelly on the hit NBC series. He returns to the small screen on the Crackle multi-platform with his new show, “Chosen.”

Along with staring in the series, Ventimillia will executive produce along with creators Ben Ketai (“30 Days of Night: Dark Days”) and Ryan Lewis. Chosen follows Ian Mitchell (Ventimiglia), a husband, father, and lawyer, who awakens one morning to discover a mysterious box on his doorstep containing a loaded gun – and a photo of a stranger he is instructed to kill within the next three days. “Chosen” is comprised of six half-hour episodes packed with non-stop action and shocking plot twists.

…and that’s your horror television news this week.
